From BILLESDON PAFA
Billesdon PAFA (AKA Parents and Friends Association) is a registered charity run by a committee and volunteers (you!) to raise money to support the school and our children in extra-curricular activities, class enrichment and those extra special bits that wouldn't be possible within the set school budget, that can make school more memorable in the best way!
Who Are We?
We currently have four official committee members - Vicky (Chair) Mrs Willcocks (Vice Chair), Abigail (Treasurer), Sunny (Secretary).
But we need volunteers and we'd love to hear from you if you're interested in getting involved in whatever way works best for you.
We plan many different events throughout the year. This year we wanted to get ahead of the game, so we've planned the whole of the next 12 months so you can save the dates... See overleaf for whats coming up!
Thanks to your kind donations and support here are just some of the ways we have supported the school over the past couple of years:
- £250 per class per year towards trips and class enrichment
- £550 each year towards cost of Christmas panto trip
- £230 for Year 6 leavers hoodies
- £500 towards school defibrillator
And here is what we'll be fundraising to support in the next academic year:
- £1200 towards the implementation of equipment required to gain Forest School status which will benefit the entire school.
- £500 towards school theatre trips
- £250 per class enrichment fund
- An additional £1200 towards new playground equipment for break times and KS2 dedicated funds
We rely on parents, teachers and friends and family of the school to help out so that our events can go ahead (we are parent volunteers with full time jobs ourselves!)

- Joining our list of regular volunteers we can call on for events
- Baking cakes for cake sales
- Donating to tombolas
- Attending events.

100 CLUB
Our fab 100 club is a great opportunity to win a cash prize every month while giving to PAFA
TUCK SHOP
On the last Friday of the month we will be holding a tuck shop for the kids to grab snacks after school.
